Cash Please is a Visual Novel/Adventure game highlighting the mundane aspects of sex work: You assume the role of a new sex worker trying to learn the trade and to stay safe while working the job. Your biggest challenge: Identifying suitable clients based on their inquiries. Will you be able to distinguish a reliable client from a no-show? And a keyboard wanker from a white knight? Your day-to-day choices will have an impact on your earnings, mood, and ultimately decide whether you'll make it in this industry, or not.
Based on a game jam project, Cash Please is a title currently in early development.

The theme of the game jam was "connection". We decided to choose this particular approach, because screening is not only important to ensure safety, but also in order to see if a sex worker and their client are a good match. If the vibe is not right or if the people involved have different ideas about a session, this can negatively affect the experience.
As this is a game jam prototype, it's very short and still missing lots of the gameplay elements we were planning to add as well as several graphic assets we already made (some of which we showcase in the screenshot gallery). Also, there might be bugs, as we didn't have enough time left to playtest the current build extensively. But we're planning to return to this project later this year and continue to work on it.

After playing the masterpiece that is Don't Make Love I just had to play this.
I get it's probably a scrapped project but would love to see this fleshed out and turned into a hybrid of spotting discrepancies, basically detective work and just trying to make it to the end of the month like every other adult out there lol
Haha, I didn't expect anyone to actually play this, let alone do a YouTube video about it, so thanks! Since the game was developed in just two and a half days, there's not much content and unfortunately it's very unlikely that we'll ever pick this project up again (even though we still love the concept), as most, if not all of our team members have full-time jobs.
Speaking of "us": Thanks for mentioning me by name, but in fact six people worked on this together and I don't feel comfortable taking all the credit. Same goes for "Don't Make Love", which was developed by a team of three. :)
is this just female dom on male or can you be a female sub
Our protagonist is a dom(me), so you cannot play as a sub in this game. But as we decided not to further specify who our main character is, you're free to imagine them as a woman, man, or non-binary/genderqueer person.
